Water ingress through the penetration may affect cables and building structures, and require reopening and rework after subsequent work has been completed.

The penetration design, sealing and waterproofing requirements, and whether the installation complies with the adopted technical solution.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Do not carry out subsequent work that restricts access to the penetration until the design has been checked, the required sealing completed and the finished assembly reinspected.
